Black Hills Meadow

Was there for my son's memorial. Lots of traffic, which was expected, due to it being Sturgis week. Sad to see so many empty buildings and so many homeless people. However, we stayed at a campground called Black Hills Meadows. Awesome place!!

We absolutely loved it! Bathrooms were very spacious and clean, the cabin is perfect for a small family of 4 with 2 queen size bunk beds . They are air conditioned and also come with a fan. Very cheap if your wanting to save on your vacation to have extra funds for all other activities. Which is exactly why we chose this campground and cabin. There are also grills available to use in front of the cabins. Bring your lawn chair to set outside and enjoy the night stars. The hospitality was the best! Owner takes pride in her business and that makes a huge difference. If we ever come to South Dakota again, we will be sure to come back, and tell other about our stay here!

Great campground! Very quite area. Campground is really big, and the sites are big & spaced out. The laundry & showers on property are free to use. The owner, Terry is probably one of the nicest owners I've met & I'm a full time traveler in these campgrounds. She's very helpful & kind. If your looking for a campground in this area, I highly recommend this one! It's away from everything, but not too far from all the sights in the area.

My two adult children and I were in a road trip out west and Spur Meadows was our stopping point for one evening. We did not want a “normal” hotel trip. Communication was perfect from booking until departure. The cabins were perfectly described as rustic. The cabins were cute, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location was easy to find, and convenient to what we wanted to do. Shower house was clean. If I ever make my way up that way again, I would not hesitate to stay at Spur Meadows again.

Very cool cabins. The grounds are nice & pet friendly. The bathrooms appear to be new (or just kept in immaculate shape!). The owner and host were very nice and again, the cabin was comfortable and fun. Would highly recommend!!
