Slept one night here in a cabin on our way through the area. For the price, we were really impressed with what we got. The cabin was very cozy and clean. It was a great option even in the middle of frigid January. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed in one of the cute little cabins for a quick overnight during a roadtrip. The location is very convenient and the studio cabin was great! Everything was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and the decor was cute. As an added bonus they are dog friendly and we had our two 65lbs pups with us. They provide some water bottles in each room. The showers were located close and each bathroom is very private and has its own toilet area and shower area. Everything seemed new and very clean. The only slight negative I can think of is that we did have some highway noise throughout the night, but it was nothing my white noise maker couldn't block out. The a/c unit also has a continual fan you can keep on.
What a wonderful experience! Check in seamless and staff are lovely. The cabins are SO NICE and COZY! Spotless and the bath houses are also spotless and best bath houses I’ve seen in a while. Location couldn’t be better too: on the base into the black hills, 15 min drive from sturgis or Rapid City downtown and 30 mins from Deadwood. Staying here my next time!
We spent two nights here and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience! We’ve been traveling for the last week and staying in various cabins along the way. These cabins were by far the nicest! We had beautiful views of the hills and the cabins are well insulated from the noise of the highway nearby. They were immaculate and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable memory foam and didn’t squeak or bounce with movement. We were here during a heatwave and the cabins have super efficient, super quiet air conditioners. The washrooms are very close and each stall has its own shower and air conditioner! This was an appreciated luxury during an intense heatwave. It was quite a posh stay.
This is a no frills campgroung , the bath houses were locked ( maybe because we visited in early Oct.), no laundry, all gravel , but all that being said it is a very good location to visit all the surrounding area . We visited Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Sturgis, 2 canyons , Custer Park and a very nice little Winery. We did eat at the restaurant at the camp ground on Friday night which the special was Indian Taco 🌮 and it was delicious would highly recommend just beware of the hot taco sauce it's firey. The owner and especially the lady at the restaurant were nice and very helpful.
