My favourite campground so far. Even though the shore is rocky, I like to swim here. We also kayak and fish and the place has a boat ramp.

Great place for the whole family. The scenery is amazing, it is nice and quiet. No cellphone reception and no electricity which was fine with us. There are only a very few outhouses around but it is manageable for a few days. Once it gets dark, it is pitch black, so make sure to have some kind of light handy. At night, same curious bears might say hi, but they just passing through and leave you alone. Just make sure not to have open food in the tent. We had a perfect short family getaway adventure.

We stumbled across this place after discoveing sly creek campground was closed. This reservoir is great! We enjoyed watching an eagle swoop up a trout right out of the water. Camp sites are large, clean vault toilet, running water. Boat ramp is near the camp sites. Parking is not next to campsites so bring a wagon to carry your stuff.

People are rude here. Boats on the lake with loud speakers, could not even hold a conversation sitting at the picnic table. People walking right through our camp next to our fire ring while we were eating dinner, with our dogs lying on their beds, causing a ruckus, instead of using the designated trail. If you are too lazy to walk 40 ft up a hill stay in the valley and camp. Toilet paper everywhere because people did not want to walk to the bathroom. Like, literally every 5 feet in every single direction. It's bear country and people leave their dog food out, and don't know how to behave in bear country. The internet has absolutely ruined this tiny campground, overgrown with city morons. Will never return, and I have been coming here since the 1970's. So sad.

Nice quiet spot to spend some quality time on the water. Easy and neat boat launch area with close in parking.
