Love Black Sands Resort. If you don’t feel like cooking , the restaurant has great food and a bar right on the lake
Visited restaurant/cafe for a family dinner. Waitstaff very friendly and provided good service. Food was hot, flavorful, and length of time from order placement to food delivery was about what one would expect for an order from 4 adults. Very family friendly, fantastic views of CJ Strike and Owyhee Mountains. Bar patrons and Staff very friendly as we walked through to restaurant. Excellent atmosphere for relaxed dining and swapping fishing stories.
Rode the bikes out for a little camping and fishing. Nice spot right on the water . Enjoyed a great meal at the restaurant. Dinner on the deck overlooking the lake. Very nice staff. Tent spots have fire rings, BBQ, table and nice shade trees.
That was my last Black Sands Burger under our families ownership. It was delicious! Hopefully the new owner Bill, will take care of the place and the patrons like my Grandma and Grandpa did. It was great to see and hear about the many good times people had there over 50+ years!

The people here are great. The tackle shop is a great place to go get things you need close to camp. The carry a variety of simple needs, tackle and even firewood. They remembered my family from last year and greeted us immediately with a story from last year. Love this place
I have been going to black sands for years and it's one of the best places to hang out by the river. Good fishing good camping and good people. The bar tender here is by far one of the best guys I have ever met. Food is also fantastic. If your in the area stop by for a drink and a dip in the water.
We stopped here for lunch...had a table with a view of the water and the best server in Jenny!!! The burgers are delicious with tons of flavor. Great buns that they stamp with their brand. Highly recommend and we will be back!
I grew up about 15 minutes from here in Grand View . 1974-1980. This place has splo many great memories. This was the only place to go swimming or at least the closest. And i loved the restaurant. Mind you i was in grade school but it was the best from a kids point of view. I learned how to swim here.
