Just OK for a quick over night camp out. Took my toddler here for her very first camping trip. Campsite were on the smaller side but many had electric. Everyone was super quiet and this is an excellent place for families that dont want to be mixed up a bunch of people partying all nighy. There is a nice flush toilet bathroom with showers near the entrance. The pit toilets through the campground were clean but the smell was so awful i gagged. I thought it was really strange that the range goes through the campground at nightfall on a loud speaker telling visors to leave and re-annoucing the quiet hours. It was just weird. Fire pit was nice size along with the picnic table. While all of the campers were very quiet, the noise coming off Winfield Road was so loud all night long, it was extremely hard to sleep. All night it was loud motorcycles, people with their radios blasting down the road, loud trucks and at dawn a commercial airplane flew right over head. It was fine for one night but we won't be back.
Great areas for boating and the archery range is awesome! I do like the sites are soft for the tents, just wish the areas were a little bigger
Excellent camping experience, well maintained, clean bathrooms and showers , Lake for fishing, walking path ,fire pits , Electricity spot for charging phones or whatever else , OVERALL Great experience
Everything about this place was amazing EXCEPT for the very rude woman who was working at the check-in. She was very disrespectful to myself and the rest of our camping party. While there was a misunderstanding with our reservation, the way she handled it was unprofessional and disrespectful. I am not sure I’d ever go back to this place because of her…which is a shame because everything else is lovely.
THEY ARE SERIOUS ABOUT THE 7PM CURFEW. I rarely post reviews but thought if I could make it more obvious it might help. Don't camp here if you're not able to make it by 7. Other than that it's very nice and quiet.
