This is one of the most special primitive campgrounds I have visited. Great views, secluded and well maintained. I spent 4 days here, and had the place to myself most of the time. There is potable water available and a trailer dump station. The "lawn" is mowed. The vault toilet was clean and stocked with toilet paper, a garage can and hand cleaner. Sitting on the Mississippi River, there is wildlife, like raptors, geese and fish. I didn't notice any goose poop and I explored the entire camp. The geese seem to hang out in the neighboring crop fields or on the river. I think this is predominantly a tent and small popup campground. It is on the river side of the Levy, Very long and/or low clearance vehicles may have issues with the Levy crossing. All the sites have mature trees, fire ring, picnic table and are on the river.
