Road was a bit rough being a mix sections of broken asphalt and washboard gravel. Nice views of Grand Junction city lights to the south and mountains on the north. Widely spaced sites, pit privies, fire rings and concrete picnic tables. No water. About 10 sites, fees 10$ nt. Nice desert scenery overall.

Great, well spaced sites right up against the cliffs. Beautiful views all the way to CO National Monument. Right next to the North Fruita Desert mounting biking trails.

*fair warning one night is $18 even tho its BLM. Helps build the amazing trails in the areas.* the drive up is long and slow which is really the only downside. Amazing ****ing campground! We were at site A7, which is very close to the top. There's so many sites to choose from. And our bathroom was surprisingly very clean... the MTB trails are top notch downhill flowy trails! The bike up can be difficult for beginner, average riders.

It is now online reservation only with no first come first serve sites. The booking system is cumbersome and overloaded and coverage can be spotty out at the sites. You really need to take a look at the sites as some are a, very short or maybe too narrow if you have slides. Upper sites have junipers and views, some sites very private, others crowded in with others, especially on loop c.
