Really nice campsite. Has no amenities besides port a potties. Had to bring in water too. Stayed in campsite 20 and loved it. Had a screech owl come visit at night and saw a young eagle the next morning. Saw fish in the creek and people fishing. Quiet area even though by the train. There are hiking trails nearby.

This park has some beautiful camping sites along the creek. The all looked primitive - no water or electrical hookups. No shower house from what I saw and only vault toilets and porta potties. The hiking trail is a bit challenging but beautiful - moss covered rock outcroppings, overlooks. So happy I took a chance on it. Will go again as there is more to explore.

This is a place my family has gone to since I was a child. It is a place that brings back many wonderful childhood memories ❤ My family recently had a bench put in as a memorial to my Uncle and the park staff was extremely helpful. It was greatly appreciated. The only thing I would change is the restrooms/water. I love how Primitive the park is but a little bit of running water in the camp grounds would make it a 5 star campground for me.

Love the location but really dislike some of the patrons. This is our 2nd visit and both times had site neighbors that are loud partying and run a generator all night long. The rules that are posted at the gate, and i suspect its just that they have to be present to observe bad behavior. Edit: The park supervisor was great and stopped by to address the concern we had. Very professional and was making sure everyone is having a good experience. The rest of our trip was great.

Great spot if you love trains and trout fishing. Bring your own bathroom as theirs stinks lol.
