Blue Mountain Campground

I've stayed at Blue Mountain Campground a handful of times because of how accommodating and friendly the staff are, and for how well-kept the campground is. I recently stayed here overnight with a group of 11 - we booked 2 cabins (which were adorable, clean, and slept us all comfortably). I called a few different times leading up to the trip with a few questions and adjustments to my reservation, and everyone I spoke to over the phone was very kind and helpful. Would highly recommend this campground for anyone looking for a nice place to stay while exploring the Catskills!

Tried to call them several times because we want to book a cabin but the lady who answered the phone was VERY rude. It is not the customers fault if they do not have enough staff to answer phone calls from the customer. No wonder other customers complain about their rudeness. I called them yesterday regarding the details of the cabins as it was not updated on the website. Then this morning I have few more questions again and called them coz I don’t want to go there and be disappointed, the lady who answered the phone was already irritated while answering questions so I told her I will discuss it with my family/friends. After few hrs my husband called them again to finally book a cabin, the lady answered the phone and talked continuously and RUDELY and NEVER let my husband speak and hang up on him. So VERY rude. Also, If they don’t want customers to call them beyond office hrs which I guess is after 5pm, they must update their website. Never book here, book it somewhere else where staff is nice and friendly.

I love the people that run this campground. This is a very important camping trip with my Dad. After losing my Mom we needed the time away to do something she loved. I traveled 1000 miles to take my Dad on a four hour drive to take him camping. The campground I made reservations at turned out to be a runner down place with out date photos. I called this campground. The gentleman that answered was so very nice. He was very understanding. I will be forever thankful to him for making this a great time with my Dad and my daughter. The campground is clean . Well taken care. The kindest people own it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This was our first stay at Blue Mountain Campground. The campground is attractive and well-maintained, and we were quite happy with our campsite. But it was the level and quantity of service that we both received ourselves and witnessed to others that most impressed me. I made a mistake, reserving a cabin for our daughter, who had driven from NYC to visit us while we were camping, and the owners helped with a workaround for my goofup. Then, when we were pulling out at the end of our stay, our way out was blocked by a rig that had just blown out a tire. Again, the owners came to the rescue. In really short order, they had changed those folk’s tire and helped them to their campsite. We were then able to leave. I was very impressed and would definitely stay at Blue Mountain again.

I stayed here last weekend for some hiking in the Catskill Mountains. I loved my experience. On Saturday evening, they had a fireworks show which was very neat. On Sunday evening, they played the Super Mario Bros Movie. The campsite isn't far from from the different mountains in the area. Their camp store is well-stocked and had what I needed. The bathrooms were clean. If I ever get the chance to come to the Catskills again after I graduate from college or later in life, I will definitely consider staying at Blue Mountain Campground!!

This was a great campground for memorial day weekend! We used a tent(actual camping), so my review may not be suitable for RVs. The facilities were very well maintained and clean. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and overall delightful. The mountain scenery can't be beat. Woodstock is 10 minutes up the road, and amazing hikes throughout the catskills. They weren't overly strict, and as long as your respectful of those around you, you're good to go. Would definitely return here for our next round in the Catskills!

We had the BEST time at Blue Mountain Campground. The tent site had a picnic table, fire pit and charcoal grill. CLEAN bathrooms with showers. Hot water and fantastic water pressure. The game room had a little something for everyone. The camp store really does have everything you need. We also had firewood delivered to our site by the owners within minutes of the request. Not only were they prompt but super friendly. You could tell they really care about making our camping experience enjoyable. Also the Wi-Fi worked great!!! We can’t wait to go back!!!

Pleasant, friendly and helpful owners.Very clean bathrom, with cozy atmosphere.
