Magical camping spot. Picturesque creek, gofgeous pines and aspens. Simple amenities including fire ring, picnic table and bench, bear box, and basic outhouses. But the scenery just can't be beat. It's a bit of a drive up rough mostly wash-board dirt roads. But is is cool and gorgeous.
Beautiful little campground. Quiet, rarely used first come first served. We were there on one of the busiest weekends, and were the only people there for 3 of 4 nights. Also, there are hungry cutthroats in the creek. Catch them with flies.
Truly a hidden Jem No noise cool. But pack might close or you will freeze. Not much for kids. The road up here s very intense. They keep it grated actually over grated to slow people down. Outhouse was extremely clean. FYI space 2 is the best and stays shades all day.
This is one of my favorite campsites in Utah. You can't ask for much more. You can't use your cell phone. You have to listen to the birds and the stream gurgling in the background. Plenty of mature trees to hang your hammock. Shoot hang it right next to the creek. Vault toilet, bear boxes and potable water. You can't help but relax.
Very clean quiet small campground
