Customer Reviews
Wonderful customer service, the staff is very thoughtful. I called ahead to make a reservation, and we arrived after hours and found our site details hanging on the bulletin board. The bathroom and shower area was perfect with plenty of room to get ready. The bathroom was heated, which is always appreciated. It was sweet to see feminine hygiene products and hair products for anyone who may need them provided in the bathroom. Little touches like that make a huge difference. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend camping here.
We absolutely loved our stay at Blue Spruce! We rented the loft apartment and it was spotless and so clean. Even the dish detergent smelled amazing! The cabin was so clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds and pillows were so comfy to fall asleep on after our busy days. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The staff take pride in their work and work hard to provide an amazing experience to everyone. Our kids loved all the activities from volleyball, pickleball to hiking. Highly recommend Blue Spruce!
Overall, we had a great time at this RV park. Loved that they had a playground, dog park, and laundry mat. Also the staff was so nice and friendly. The reason for 3 stars is because of our cabin.. the pictures online are VERY outdated. They must have been taken when it was brand new. I have a crawling baby (which is why we reserved a cabin instead of tent camping somewhere) and within 5 minutes her hands, knees, and shins were black from the dirty floors.. there isn’t a mop there or I would have cleaned them myself, so that makes me think they aren’t mopped normally. I swept right away and it was obvious it hadn’t been done prior to our arrival. Also, the kitchen is advertised as “fully stocked.” We had only 2 bowls and 2 huge serving spoons as the only spoons in a cabin that sleeps 4. It also only had small pots, again, not enough to prepare meals for my family without cooking in small batches. It’s a nice place, but I think I wouldn’t take my chances with the cabins again.
It's one of our favorite places. Lots of trees, cozy and beautiful. The spots are tight, but the area is just so pretty. The staff is very friendly. They are dog friendly and have a dog park. There is a kids playground, but not one child was running around. it seems very adult oriented. They have pool tables, air hockey, and a bingo night. They also have a small convenience store at the entrance. This is a place we will definitely return to. A+ in our book.
My wife had booked a RV rental for her fathers birthday celebration. Father and other sibling had rented RV spots as well so we were joining them. The description stated that the RV had 1 bedroom and a bunk bed setup in the living room. Upon arrival the RV had a bed and a fold down couch. Not too big a deal we can manage. Had a great time camping and eating out then went to bed. At 3 AM we were awoken to the CO2 alarm going off. We called the on call number and staff sent over a maintenance man to check it out. First thing he asked was if we had a candle burning, to which we replied no we do not have an open flame in the camper. Next he said he could just pull the fuse so it would not go off again. So instead of testing the CO2 levels or offering a solution, the guy blames us for causing the alarm and then offers to bypass a safety device so he could get back to bed I'm assuming. We made the decision to sleep with the camper door open all night and freeze so we didn't die in our sleep. When we notified the front desk the next day the lady said she understood how that would be inconvenient and said she would inform management, and they would be in contact with us. No contact, no apology, and just an offer to disable a safety device. Be careful when booking!
