We had a great experience. The staff was super friendly. The home clean and had everything we needed. We can't wait to go again.
Very quiet, a little overwhelming to navigate but once you figure it out, you don't need gps anymore. Town seems further away than it really is. Activities manager was very kind and my kids enjoyed coloring with her. Golf balls hitting the house was unique but it didn't hurt anything, was just kinda funny to figure out what that noise was. The parking is done in a way that it's highly unlikely a vehicle would get hit by a golf ball.
Great vacation spot if you golf. Several golf courses in the area and if you don't golf there is still lots to see and do within a short drive. The BG Lodges are nice and comfortable and the area is quiet. The Lodges seem to be well maintained and we had a great time. Front desk service at check in was easy and it's nice that BG doesn't do owner reviews here so I didn't have to tell the sales guy 'No' a dozen times. The roads to access the area are hilly and windy but they provide nice views of the area and there are lots of hiking trails and waterfalls to visit. The 'farmers market'/ store in Cashiers is neat with a lot of niche snacks and food items but they will also put a hurting on your wallet if you're not careful. We will definitely be back to visit this area several more times in the future.
We couldn't be happier with our experience visiting this resort. We were greeted by friendly staff and surprised at the accommodations. Cellular signals in the mountains are rare but the WiFi provided was fast and stable. Located on a private golf course which I would recommend as well. We will keep this on our list for future vacations for sure.
