Bluegreen Fantasy Island Resort II

Our condo was HUGE, clean and the beds super comfortable. Beautiful view of the ocean. Long balcony with plenty of setting. Condo was big enough for a family to be very comfortable. One of the longest sectional sofas I’ve ever seen. Table for 6 with 2 additional seats at the kitchen bar. No washer & dryer in condo. There are 2 laundry facilities within the resort. It was very cold when we were there, but I still got some beautiful photos of the sunrise. Negatives are the main bath exhaust fan is extremely loud and it is linked to the light switch. The light & fan come on together. One of the laundry rooms was out of order and instead of placing a sign on the outside of the entry door the sign was on the dryer, unfortunately I had already placed my clothes in the washer. I had to then remover my wet clothes and go to the other laundry room. The sign should have been posted on the entry door. There are only 2 washer & 2 dryers in each area. This is one amenity I love, it’s no fun arriving home with a bunch of dirty clothes.

Although this is an older property it is in good shape and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Large balcony with a nice side ocean view. No super high floors where you spend 25% of your vacation in the elevator.

Clean and tight units. Dated building with tight parking just enough for patrons. Furniture is clean and not beat up. I was fortunate to get unit with ocean/ pool view from balcony. Service is excellent amenities include full galley kitchen. Grocery just few blocks away. Only drawback is pool and beach access was not available due to hurricane damage that occurred two years prior.

Great location away from the business of the strip. Rooms are clean well maintained and spacious. All staff were friendly and helpful. The only reason I give 3 stars is due to the air conditioning. It would freeze up and stop working if turned down to 68. I notified the staff, and a person came to our room and told me to not turn it below 72 and it would work fine. This would make sense if it was the middle of summer, but the outside temp was in the mid 70's and I like it cold when I sleep, and this was not a valid resolution for my problem. We had to sleep with the balcony doors open to cool it down the rest of our stay.

This is a beautiful place, the room was amazing they had a lot of space. sadly the pool was closed due to maintenance because of the hurricanes but they do let you use the fantasy Island one pool but you have to buy a wristband on each day.
