Bluegreen Vacations Fountains, Ascend Resort Collection

First I requested the arcade or pool table themed presidential suite. I called 2 weeks before we came down and they assured me it would be no problem. I was called 2 days before check in and again was assured my request would be no problem. At checking in I was told the only room available was the one with the stinky rundown out door kitchen I was upset but decided to not make a fuss and deal with it. Now there is no water in the building 10 . I was trying to prepare breakfast and had family in the showers getting ready to go out for the day. This resort needs better management and check in staff. Very disappointed with the stay here. Oh and at night we were awoken several times by cars or motorcycles backfiring on the road in front of the building 10. I am so disappointed in the way this resort has gone downhill. What happened to the luxury status Bluegreen was known for?

Wish I could give zero stars. In 2012 we stayed at the Fountains for an inexpensive weekend, with one catch - we had to sit through their sales pitch. The snake oil salesman who gave our presentation made everything sound so wonderful, and we purchased. BIG mistake!! Once we got home we came to find out half of what we were told about fees, etc being tax deductible and much more was a lie. Pretty much, it was all a lie. We promptly cancelled the purchase within barely two days. It is almost 13 years later and I STILL get FREQUENT calls from other timeshare companies wanting to buy our timeshare, from assorted vendors wanting to help us get out of our timeshare, etc. The timeshare we owned for less than 48 hours and I'm being harassed and annoyed by FREQUENT phone calls on my cell phone number that Bluegreen has shared. Please think twice before purchasing, they are lying to you about EVERYTHING. I absolutely hate Bluegreen Vacations. Shady, shady, shady.

I saved money because we never left the resort. The pools were huge and amazing. Staff beyond friendly, food was good, delivery was awesome. I loved my stay and I am booking another trip. Highly recommend!

The fire alarm at the elevator goes off all the time. It started at 4 am! It's been going off for over thirty minutes. Yet the front desk said they would send someone right away. Yesterday when I complained twice in three hours of it constantly going off during the day time, guest services man was rude to me on the phone for telling them it was still going off. This broken or defective item has been going off randomly all week. I will never come back. Sleep is too important. I can go to the pool in the day time, but at night I just want to sleep

This place would have been better if they did not have construction going on, elevators not working and with wrong paperwork and the dust feom the construction! Definitely needs to take guests into account and not put them in towers being worked on all day and night.
