The property is beautiful! There are gorgeous views from all sides of the resort. Geared to both families and couples, there are plenty of amenities and activities for everyone; Accommodating those staying because they have plans to visit nearby points of interest or those who want to have an all-in-one getaway. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfectly set in-between many of the attractions in the area. We'll definitely be back.
Friendly staff, nice pool and spa area. General store with a good selection so you don't have to leave the resort if you don't want to. Good size outdoor pool/spa/splash pad area, although we were there in the off-season, so it was closed. Golf cart rentals are available, as the property is massive.
Came here for this past weekend. It was great did everything that we could. Next time I'ma go fishing and kayaking. The restaurant was great the good was amazing everything was hot and fresh. The staff was great. The host with the green or grey eyes 😉 she was perfect. Seated a party of 7 with ease. I'm definitely coming back .
We rented a 3 bedroom cabin at the resort for our stay. It was a nice cabin but in need of some upkeep (rotting wood outside). The kitchen and washing machine was a great asset for the trip. The whole resort reminded me of a summer camp for kids. Kayaking, pools, horseback riding, fishing, put put and so much more. Somethings cost some don't. The pool by the main building was closed due to painting and the inside one was closed due to drought. If you are interested in wineries there are several in the area. A great day trip is to Kings Dominion about an hr. and 30 min away. Be sure to go up by the horse fields for a sunset or two. They are almost always postcard perfect!
I have to say I’m disappointed. My husband and I came here for our anniversary expecting a nice resort. A regular hotel would’ve been better. The room smelled musty. The resort staff were great. They put a dehumidifier in the room which did not help but they tried. The bed was a full size bed so it barely fit us comfortably. The restaurant was not the best. The service at the restaurant was terrible. If they want to sell time shares then they need to do better than this! Won’t be back.
