We’re staying in room 404. We checked in on Monday the 13th and the check in wasn’t great. The hot tub has been out since the last time we were here when the towers fell in June of ‘21.The pool is filthy. The beach lounges have been downgraded and there are no longer umbrellas being offered to owners. With all that being said we wasn’t going to complain until just today, 7 nights later, we finally received a welcome text from resort and a text saying we have a pending charge due to a missing towel. Are you serious? We don’t need any towels and we turned them all in. I went down to speak to front desk who was really nice about the situation. Why are we finally getting a welcome text on the night before we check out? Why are we getting accused of stealing a towel when we turned them in? Why do we have to pay another resort in Miami to use their facilities because our Bluegreen resort is broken down? This resort has really declined! Very disappointing!

This place has great potential but i gave it 3 stars for a couple of reasons. Firstly, the hot tub was broken and the pool is NOT heated and was freezing and they ended up closing it halfway through our trip. We were told that the hot tub has been broken for a year apparently. The location was right off the ocean which was awesome but we had 25-30 m/hr winds so was unable to use the beach and the pool was too cold. Its not walking distance to any restaurants (about 1 mile to the nearest place). If you want to go anywhere near downtown Miami or south beach its 30-40 min drive. Rooms were nice and so was the staff. Valet parking was included which was nice. This would have been a great place if we had beach weather but unfortunately we did not.

I hesitate to let the world know about one of the best kept secrets in Miami but the team at Solara deserves a shout-out. Hardest working folks in the business. Great resort, quiet location, beautiful beachfront, our favorite for many years now. Most of all, AMAZING staff. Nearly everyone is just so nice. Thank you!

I contacted customer service to explain that I wasn’t aware this was a timeshare program. Had it been made clear upfront, I wouldn’t have paid $199 for the vacation package they sold me. When I requested a refund, I was told I had 30 days to cancel, which was mentioned in an email I supposedly should have read. The lack of transparency left me feeling misled and out $199. Be cautious—this process is not straightforward. You’re better off booking with a transparent company that respects your trust.

We have been owners for years spending quite a few trips here for a week or more. This is our first trip since the Champlain Tower South (2021). The staff have all changed over but still kind and accommodating just different. Traffic in the area has increased making it a longer commute anywhere. Valet parking on site is the only option. The beach is really close just walk out the back of the property and you are there. Hammocks, outdoor kitchen SL and picnic tables are all available just beyond the pool and hot tub.
