Great group camp sight. Has a porta-potty. Surrounded by plenty of pine trees and boulders. Has several wooden picnic tables, fire pit and grill. About 30 minutes of off road driving to the campsite but regular vehicles can get there with some caution.
Nice secluded campsite, very scenic and plenty of room for the whole family or group to spread out. The road up is rough, so you should probably be driving an SUV or truck to get here. Four Stars instead of Five because the toilet on site was overdue to be pumped out, so it was quite "ripe". Bummed that no campfires or charcoal were allowed (late July) but I understand. Also, three large bear boxes were provided, so evidently somebody was listening to Mr. Chen's review
Wonderful place to stay! Huge fire pit. Lots of parking and room to put tents. Picnic tables and Bear boxes. Walking distance to bluff lake. So much to explore and very remote.
It would be good if they can provide box to store food and garbage like Yosemite
Great place for group gatherings! Good rock climbing close by.
