We are RV’d at this campground a couple of times. People are so nice. Rabbits all over that are super friendly. We fed them spinach and they love it. Had some night time friends that came to check us out too. So be aware of the Amarillo and raccoons. They love to play around the campers but never bothered us. We’ve also had a company picnic here and it was a wonderful time.

Loved all the shading trees. We parked at several sites during our time here as the office wouldn't allow us to book longer than two weeks at a time (we were there for two months). The rabbits were cute but it was difficult to drive around at times when they were in the road. We really enjoyed the biking trails here. Beautiful scenery!

Absolutely beautiful. Campground & trails. Sweet. It was drizzling, no sun, except a little bit of light here & there. Weather made the beautiful surroundings even more special. Unfortunately, there are many trail parts that have no road, so be prepared to step in mud. There were also a closed area of the trail so we had to walk in the road. Nevertheless, this place is memorable. I highly recommend.

This is a very big recreational area, but the campground sites are fairly large & most are pull in. The campground, I believe, has maybe 98 sites total. It is all 1 way around the campground. There is a playground area over the by the freshwater lake and the river is saltwater. Really pretty area. There is also a marina onsite as well.
