Great spot to camp. Fellow campers have always been respectful and quiet. Bathrooms are pretty clean and convenient. Has shower facilities that take tokens, tokens can be purchased with $1 or $5 bills, does not accept quarters/change. Park staff is always friendly and knowledgeable:)
We camped here for 1 night because our favorite site farther north was closed for the season. It’s an OK campground. Great service from the folks up front, but the fog horn all night and traffic noise kinda ruined the immersion for me. Some sites are very meh and some were quite nice, but again, the traffic noise at #69 kinda took away from our peace.
Was a campground. Close to bay and right off highway 1. Reasonably priced, no hookups, but has a water filling station right close to waste dump station. There is a small fee. Overall quiet and lots of room for walking and biking.
This is a lovely quiet campground. The birds come and hangout with you in the morning. Access to the beach is so convenient. Only issue is that the State Park needs help to remove an abandoned camper. I wonder if they checked for dead bodies.
They need to update the bathrooms a bit. They were looking pretty rough when we went in Nov '24. Doran Beach, just a few miles away has much superior RR facilities.
