Great campground on Lake Lanier, love the space of the sites, location and wildlife. Bathhouse is cold. And I wish they had electrical outlets for a space heater when it's cold out. Overall one of my favorite places in the area to camp at.
Great campground on Lake Lanier. Park Host and employees are always friendly and helpful. Location is convenient to Gainesville City. I love the campsites and feel as though they are spacious. The bath house is badly in need of a update. Also I love that it is gated .
Did not rate the rooms, as it is a campground. But I will say that the county partnering with the Army Corp of Engineers has been a great partnership. The Corp has let the parks run down, and hopefully, the counties they have partnered with can bring these parks back to their glory days. The staff in Hall County and Bolding Mill have made this summer camping experience wonderful.
Bolding Mill is a beautiful and quiet camp ground at the North End of Lake Lanier. Camp ground is well kept and is great for tents and campers. Site are spacious and well maintained. Will definitely return soon.
This was my first time camping at Bolding Mill. Since it is a Corp of engineers location, the cost is very low compared to a private campground. The bath house is an older building but was clean and functional. There was also a washer & dryer. The grounds were nice and maintained when i was there in late August. Many of the sites are waterfront and nice sized. The driveway is concrete with a gravel/sand pad where the picnic table and fire ring are. There is also a nice fishing pier, just a short walk from the road. It was nice to go out in the late afternoon for a walk with the pup. There has been a staffing shortage lately, and some campgrounds were closed. Big thanks to those who are caring for these sites so we can enjoy them!!
