Beautiful quiet place, near the entrance of Bosque del Apache. Great welcome, easy going. Park is for sale and a little bit overdue. One shower in small place but nice hot water.
Nice and peaceful other than the train tracks across the street. Owner is easy going and friendly. Small restroom if needed.
Great small campground just a couple of miles from the Bosque del Apache NWR. Flat gravel parking lot with hookups, clean bathroom and shower, plenty of hot water. Billy the owner is great and we enjoyed talking with him. If you're there for birds, you won't be the only one driving out an hour before dawn -- lots of folks staying here are doing the same thing. The wildlife refuge was terrific for cranes, swans, and various puddle and bay ducks.
This is a wonderful no frills park with full hook sites. Wildlife roams the area, and is generally a quiet place. We have enjoyed our stay very much. The owner is a wonderfully nice fellow that manages this friendly park, while treating you like family.
We loved it. It was quiet and Billy was the nicest guys ever. The bathrooms were clean but since there were full hookups at each site we only checked them out. We loved seeing the quail and other birds everymorning and every evening. No bangs and whistles like swimming pools or the such but nice and quiet able to enjoy nature. Will definitely go there again
