We've camped here, biked, kayaked over the years, I tried to rent a kayak the other day but the rental place is closed during the week, only opened on weekends and holidays, so I biked for a bit but there is not much to do unless you have plans, biking around the island takes like 20 minutes. I came by ferry from the main land, it's $3.25 each way. Camping is great, it's a very nice parc with lovely sounds of nature, great amenities, a boutique and snack store on the main island. You need a buggy to bring your stuff over to the site, cars are not permitted.

Near Montreal, this national park offers good hiking trails and nice views. There is a rental place for kayaks and water sports, but be aware that the last rental is at 3:45 PM. We waited in line for 40 minutes, and despite reaching the front at around 3:50 PM, the staff refused to rent to us, claiming they were closed. It looked like the staff started closing sooner and didn't serve others. Although there are indoor bathrooms and a small shop, the bathroom closed at 5 PM, which was inconvenient. Overall, the hike was pleasant, but the staff didn't seem helpful.

Beautiful place to go for a walk, alone, in groups, or with your dog. I went on April 07, and all washrooms were still closed (only the one in the visitor's center was open), which is the reason why I am giving four stars. It is pretty hard waking for 4, 5 km without a washroom or a place to refill your water bottle. It was my first time there and I will be more prepared next time for sure. Anyway, I enjoyed my time there. Probably the best time to go is in the fall when all the trees are changing colors. Truly, I will be back.

Nice place to bike and hike near City. No Ferry to Island from September 2nd so only way to access is through Boucherville.
