I think this used to be a lakeside campground but the water has fallen so much over the last 30+ years that it’s a mile to the water! Campground is nice, two restaurants at the harbor about a mile away, plus a fishing dock. Some great hikes nearby as well, especially gold strike canyon

Clean and paved campground. Beautiful views of Lake Mead from many sites. There are water spigots spread throughout the campground. Bathrooms are very clean and was always stocked with toilet paper. Keep in mind there are no trash bins at sites or in bathrooms. There are plenty of dump bins located near the entrance of the campground. I stayed at site 77 in the D loop. Probably the best spot as it has decent privacy and direct view of the lake. Park hosts were always making trips around to ensure safe and happy campers. I'd definitely stay here again.

It was a very nice campground but we probably won't go back. We enjoy talking to other campers and we were the only ones outside, everyone else was in their campers with their generators running from 7 am to 10 pm. It would be great for a one night stop over.

Great little campground along the shores of Boulder Basin. One of the most popular and easily accessible campgrounds at Lake Mead. They are doing a good job replanting trees and landscaping so there is some shade during the summer. Sites have a table & shelter. It is downright brutal & hot camping here during the summer months, there is no way around it. Just be prepared with hydration and cooling gear & you'll have a great time exploring around the lake!
