Great campground overall. Every site seemed to be tucked into its own little area. The water was all turned off for Maine while we were there. It was a little bit of a walk to the two places to get water, but not to bad. The water itself tasted slightly off, but not terrible. Beautiful views of the river in the morning. There is a train that comes by every once in a while. Would definitely recommend though!
Location is great and the view was magnificent. Campsites are well shaded with tall trees. Reasons I give it 2 stars, based on our experience in Loop C: - first and most importantly, the site is so loud at night from Hyway and train noise. We could not sleep all night and had to cut our initially planned 2 nights stay after our first night. - bathrooms are dirty and very smelly. - campsites are small with little privacy.
Beautiful campground, lots are well spread out but some sites are still not separated well enough. Washrooms were well maintained and cleaned regularly. Only 15 amp lots from the look of it, water pressure was a bit too high for our trailer as well.
Great campground, as it is directly at the bow river and has plenty of space. We stayed in C34 and E3 and both of them are beautiful. I would prefer E3 though, as it was a little bit more private. There is a path along the river that you access directly from the campground. The only unfortunate thing was that the water access was turned off on Sept 18. However, you could still get water from the dump site and shower house. Shower tokens can be purchased for 3$. Moreover, you here the train and street across the river (but you hear that on most campgrounds around Banff and Canmore).
Beautiful campground. We stayed in C loop, with our 5th wheel. The site was a bit tight, but doable for parking. And lots of space between sites, lots of trees. Right on the river, which we could access because the water was low, and we loved that. The views are incredible. Staff were helpful and kind, and we enjoyed biking through the grounds and exploring. So many things to do nearby as well. We’ll definitely be back!
