Customer Reviews
Met the owners, really nice sweet people. He took us for a ride around his property showing us what he's wanting to do here. We are definitely going to stay here anytime we come down this way!
Great price, Great people! A great place to stay! If you are road tripping to Cass Scenic Railroad, Green Bank Observatory, Seneca Rocks and Caverns this is a great option. Only 15 minutes ti Green bank Observatory, 45 minutes to Seneca Caverns and Seneca Rocks and about 40 minutes to Cass. We were greeted by Mike as soon as we arrived and we’re free ti pick a spot. Full hookup was $40.00 a night. They invited us to diner Friday night and had square dancing and a live band. We really felt like family. It’s in the NRQZ (National Radio Quiet Zone) there is no cell phone service, but they have Wi-Fi and it worked great. They have a playground as well. A great place to visit for a long weekend or as a stop on your road trip. I can’t say enough on how much I enjoyed my stay.
Great people, quiet clean campground. Great rates. Free wifi (must ask for the password). This is in the National Quiet Zone, so there is NO cell service for many miles. Close to stores and gas stations.
Very friendly owners , clean , peaceful location. Also you can not beat the price. Definitely would return.
This campground is outstanding in every way. It is clean as can be with plenty of parking space. The owners are about as great as I have ever seen. They will bend over backwards to help you in any way they can. They rely on you to be good stewards of their campground. I have been an RVer since 1994 and it does not get better than this campground.
Boyer Station Campground, Restaurant, Motel, Anything about this family is 100%. I called a couple years back about a night or 2 in the motel because I'd be taking them country roads home for a final goodbye in those beautiful mountain view skies. My beloved grandmother had passed away. Even though they weren't really open at that time of season (early February) she had a few construction crew guys there and considering the situation and the only other options being a hour behind us or our from us and her spot being only 2 minutes away from the community center they were having her service at. This wonderful woman took a friend of mine and I in for the night and then refused to let us pay and told me how my grandmother and her had went to school together. And until that day I hadn't pieced together the family reunions in the campgrounds, the Sunday dinners at the restaurant, and then the woman I cared for at Pocahontas center that shared my grandmother's maiden name ♥️ T if you're still with us, is because of ppl like you and your family (Mike Murphy & Family he sold me my first car and I wrecked it coming home from marlinton my experience of WV snow driving and he came after midnight and pulled me out, only busted a wheel bearing but somehow I ended up face the other direction against the mountain instead of the very far down revenge I had seen before me) That I still have faith in humanity, today's society can be so selfish and greedy they forget about the other people in the world, but you're family is exactly why what this world needs more of and I appreciate y'all more then my words could ever say or explain. Thank You Sherri Woodford granddaughter of Betty Mullenax Woodford
