Brad's Old Ferry Landing Campground & RV Park Introduce

Hello, Louisiana river lovers and quiet-seeking travelers! If you're on the hunt for a truly authentic, secluded, and visually stunning RV camping experience in Central Louisiana, it’s time to navigate your way to **Brad's Old Ferry Landing Campground & RV Park**. Tucked away "off the beaten path" near Enterprise, this hidden gem offers a unique combination of full-hookup convenience and raw, captivating riverfront beauty.

Unlike crowded highway-side parks, Brad's promises a tranquil atmosphere defined by the majestic Ouachita River. This is where you come to unplug (literally, in some cases—more on that later!), unwind, and truly appreciate the natural splendor of the Bayou State's rich river ecosystems. The property is known for its personal touch, as visitors often praise the hospitable owner, with one guest noting, "Old man Brad was cool and very accommodating." This family-run approach ensures a friendly, supportive environment for all who visit.

The experience here is defined by the view and the atmosphere. As another happy camper described, "The camp site is phenomenal and the view is exceptional with the river and large trees. Camp site is about 30’ + above river, love the atmosphere." Whether you are traveling through the state—as one reviewer was, happily stumbling upon Brad's "while traveling to AR from NOLA"—or looking for a long-term fishing base, this campground offers a memorable retreat in the heart of Louisiana.

**Location and Accessibility**

Brad's Old Ferry Landing Campground & RV Park is strategically located on the banks of the beautiful Ouachita River in Catahoula Parish, near the small town of Enterprise. While the location is wonderfully secluded, it remains accessible via a series of well-maintained state highways.

**Address:** 106 Old Ferry Landing Rd, Enterprise, LA 71425, USA

The park is reachable using major arteries like US-165, connecting the area to Monroe and Alexandria. Since it is situated "off the beaten path," travelers should rely on detailed directions (available via the provided coordinates or by calling the park) and be prepared for a peaceful final approach. The rural setting is a feature, not a drawback, for those seeking genuine quiet. Despite the seclusion, the park is known to comfortably accommodate large rigs, with sites designed for RVs up to **75 feet in length**.

Its position on the Ouachita River is key to its appeal. The Ouachita is a major tributary and recreational waterway, making the campground an essential launching point for boaters and anglers. Its location in Central Louisiana also makes it a convenient, relaxing stopover for those traveling between major southern cities, providing a much-needed break from the highway bustle.

**Services Offered**

Brad's Old Ferry Landing is an RV-focused park that prioritizes essential utilities and convenience, especially given its remote, riverfront setting. The small number of sites ensures personal attention and a well-maintained environment.

Services available at the campground include:

  • **Full Hookups:** Out of the 14 available RV sites, **12 offer full hookups** (electric, water, and sewer), providing complete comfort for short or extended stays.
  • **Electric & Water Only Sites:** The remaining sites offer **electric and water hookups** for those not requiring sewer.
  • **Big Rig Accommodations:** The campground is confirmed to **accept big rigs** and can accommodate RVs up to 75 feet in length, making it accessible for larger fifth wheels and motorhomes.
  • **Dump Station:** A central dump station is available on-site.
  • **Pet Friendly:** The campground is welcoming to pets (guests should call ahead for any specific restrictions or fees).
  • **Rental Cabins:** For guests traveling without an RV, the park offers rental cabins for an alternative accommodation option.
  • **Seasonal RV Storage:** For local Louisianians or frequent visitors, seasonal RV storage options are also available.

**A Note on Connectivity:** Visitors should be aware of the park's remote location. As one traveler noted, "Don't expect good cell service from Verizon at this remote location," which is typical of secluded river areas. For many, this lack of reliable cell service is a **feature**, encouraging true disconnection and relaxation.

For Louisiana locals seeking an authentic and high-quality riverfront escape, Brad's Old Ferry Landing Campground & RV Park is an easy and superior choice. It is worth choosing for three compelling reasons:

**1. The Undisturbed Riverfront View and Atmosphere:** This is a true Ouachita River experience. This combination of true wilderness immersion with necessary modern amenities (like the nearby laundry and local entertainment) is difficult to find, making Brad's an ideal getaway for those who want to disconnect from technology but not from comfort.

Awesome camp! Very happy to have stumbled upon Brad's while traveling to AR from NOLA. The property is beautiful, secluded off the beaten path, and comfortable. Old man Brad was cool and very accommodating. Don't expect good cell service from Verizon at this remote location, but it didn't bother me. My site was able to accommodate my 29ft 5th wheel camper with full hookups with no issues. Excellent place to stop through for a night or more while traveling.

QUIET, 30 min from the nearest town/store. There is no pool or splash pad type activities if you have children. Ouachita River within walking distance for fishing. Small campground with full hookups. 30 amp only. The owner lives on the property and is extremely nice, accommodating and helpful. If looking for a camping spot in the middle of nowhere this is it.

This was absolutely the neatest campground with David Bowie's town village where he grew up, a way cool ferry to cross the river and Mr. Borth's house that he built. Campsites are very quiet (with maybe a couple chickens, kittens, a little doggie, and some deer) it was great!!!!
