Super clean private camp ground. We enjoyed our stay here a lot. Very fun environment and quiet at night.
Great place to stay!! Owner is very courteous and has all the basic necessities on site. You can rent a travel trailer or bring your own. You can also rent pontoons from the campground owner. Quite place less than 30 seconds away from the State Park boat dock and the beach. Would definitely stay here again.
This is a local privately owned campground that is open year around. The campground offers amenities that include, water, electric, and playground for the kiddos. The RV spaces are neat, cleaned, moved and trimmed every week! The owners are awesome, very friendly and helpful. What I really like is the fact that they monitor vehicles coming and going from the campground to ensure only registered campers and guest are onsite. This makes it very safe and allows kids to play.
Brand new campground so it's a little bare as far as trees go, but it's very clean and well kept. I was a little skeptical as this place allows year round camping (you never know what you're getting into), but the owners do an excellent job of keeping the place nice looking. The owners are very involved with the place and run a pretty tight ship, but they're not overbearing at all. Only drawback we saw was the cell phone service was pretty spotty (we have Bluegrass cellular which is CDMA). Obviously that's not the owners' fault but it is something to consider if you have to stay connected. The wifi is ok if it's not overloaded with people. Overall it's a nice campground that I expect will only get better as time goes by. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We needed a place for the night and every place I called was either closed or full. Ben answered my call at 6:30 and had a space. Most of his campers are full time but one was gone for the week. He waited up to 10:00 for us and took us to our site and helped with backing in directions. I was very thankful for his help. The campground is spacious with level groveled sites around a center green area with a small playground. The outer sites backed up to trees. This is the first campground just outside the Nolan Lake State Park. Great location.
