Customer Reviews
What a fantastic place! This was my first KOA stay and they set the bar high! The bathrooms were clean, the campsites were roomy, and the camp store was well stocked. The owners were super friendly and knew me by name whenever I saw them. All of the hookups worked correctly and the wifi was definitely streaming speeds. The playground was great for the kids! I will definitely stay here again the next time I camp in the area!
We were a problem child at our stay due to some accommodations we needed and they were quick to help. I can't say that I would. We interacted a lot with the owners and the wonderful lady at the desk and they made us feel at home. The activities for the Halloween weekend were a lot of fun! We had quite a few kids and they LOVED it. The park itself is the cleanest I have seen at a RV Park. The park has gravel through the majority, so the kids couldn't ride their beloved scooters, but that didn't stop them. They played on the playground the entire weekend and rode their bikes and hung out with the kids. They didn't miss a beat. We already plan on booking for next Halloween season!
Clean and very tiny park: 4 swings, camper climbing, and teetertotter. Park size is maybe 2 pick up trucks or 2 large SUV parked side by side. We did a deluxe cabin, very nice and clean. We were not given bedding for the bunk beds. Mattress was horrible, on the possibly queen bed. Shower has to be very quick before the hot water runs out. View is stunning view b/c it is fall in Brown Cty. This is our 5th different KOA and sadly one and done. This is a fancy Journey KOA, not a holiday KOA. Nothing to do on site and we have stayed at KOA off season and plenty to do and have fun.
Stayed here for a couple of nights in late August. Staff and owners were super helpful and accommodating. Great amenities (playground, laundry, CLEAN showers and bathrooms, big pool and store) !! Had the back-in site right next to the first small cabin and across from the playground and bathrooms/laundry. Shawn (one of the owners along with her husband Bruce) helped me back in (lifesaver!). There is a nature trail around the perimeter of the property and a fenced dog run down the trail in the woods. Beautiful area... The staff (Christi and Ed) were always available to answer questions and help if needed. Quite a few pull through sites as well as some Glamping cabins (coming soon 🙏). Just off the highway (no road noise) and close to Nashville Indiana. Would stay here again and highly recommend it! Thanks again to Shawn, Bruce, Ed and Christi!
This KOA was excellent! It was close to the state park, the forest, downtown Nashville, and the highway but still felt secluded and out of the way. All of the amenities were excellent. The camp store was adorable and stocked with anything you could need and plenty of stuff you didn't know you needed until you saw it. I had some trouble with depositing money in the washer but they got me up and washing in no time. We took our kayaks, they offered to take us to a great kayak fishing spot and pick us up when we were done.
Stayed in the Basic cabin, very clean. Has the double bed and a bunk so houses four people comfortably. It was nice to have a little refrigerator to store our food. We had a pit with grill and was close to the office. The pool was cleaned every morning. They had a gem soft that you could purchase a bag or bucket from $7.99-$14.99 and mine the gems. A large chess board that our youngest wanted to play. A nice trail and a visitor on the path for pictures. Ten minutes up the street from Nashville Indiana. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The older gentleman talked with my husband and son about scouting and encouragement to my son. We will definitely be going back.
The cutest little KOA! Dog park, clean bathrooms, laundry, playground, and a wonderfully curated camp store. Employee was pleasant and helpful! Oh, and I saw a pool on the way out! This campground has a little bit of everything.
This place is wonderful! I was hesitant in going with the flooding and rain, but the person at the desk (Christina) when I called was so comforting, honest and encouraging. One of the nicest people I could ever talk to. Even with the weather, this has been a wonderful time. The on site maintenance person (Jim) also went above and beyond to support my needs. I will be back.
We spent a one-night layover there in late March. We will be back! So close to bike trails and a beautiful area. The staff/owner were so helpful. The sites are gravel and very level, even though the park is hilly (and beautiful). The bathhouse was very clean.
We spent a wonderful couple of days with 3 granddaughters for a quick spring break getaway, and it was wonderful. The cabin was spotless and well-appointed, the staff was wonderfully helpful and friendly. We will definitely be returning! Thank you!
