Brown's Bay Resort

An absolute gem of a RV park. Our stall was steps away from the water and it truly was magical. Watching the cruise ships go by in the evening was incredible! We also got to eat at the floating restaurant with fantastic food and super friendly service. This place truly has it all.

This is a great RV resort! Spectacular views overlooking the channel by Ripple Rock. So great to watch all the marine traffic going by...including cruise ships going up and back to Alaska. Well looked after resort. Nice clean bathrooms and free shower. Restaurant on the marina dock. On the upper level there are three non-view sites (in which we stayed for four nights)....that, in our opinion, should not be charged the same as the view sites across the street. Our view was the RV rigs and trucks only that had the view.

We visit Brown's Bay every year for the fishing derby at the end of the season. The staff is so amazing and dedicated, The location is phenomenal, and you can't beat sitting in the restaurant watching the goings-on of the marina and fuel dock as well as the food. We love the resort and everything about it. See you next year!

Such an incredible spot- a little slice of heaven. The location is breathtaking, the staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant is fantastic. There is also a clubhouse full of great stuff to do. Highly recommend staying here. By far our favourite place to vacation on the island.

We were scheduled for 7 nights at the RV part and loved it so much we extended our stay. Staff are friendly, showers and laundry are very clean and grounds are well maintained. The restaurant has a fantastic seafood menu and we enjoyed the crab dinners. The 5km logging road was well worth the drive to this fantastic location, just have to drive slowly. We will definitely be back. Our third time at the resort and another terrific experience! Two suggestions: add arrows to the site numbers to avoid confusion of which site corresponds with the number. We have seen multiple guests confused and setting up in the wrong site each time we have camped here. Also would be great to have an off leash area for the pooches to run. Thank you to staff for making our stay enjoyable. Aug. 2024 our fifth stay at the RV park. We had some issues with noisy campers beside us and their 8 to 10 guests. Called the front desk and the staff were great. They notified the noisy group about using the visitor centre and peace was restored. We also had the pleasure of viewing the Northern Lights during our stay…spectacular! Thank you again, staff and management for another great experience. By the end of 2024 we would have spent a total of 8 weeks at Browns Bay.
