Brown's Landing RV Park Introduce
Brown's Landing RV Park, a distinguished establishment within the Campgrounds & RV Parks category, offers a welcoming and amenity-rich experience for RV enthusiasts seeking a memorable getaway in Tawas City, Michigan. This family-owned and operated park is renowned for its prime location directly on the shores of Lake Huron, providing a blend of natural beauty and convenient services tailored specifically for RV campers. As a dedicated RV park, it prioritizes features that enhance the comfort and enjoyment of guests traveling in recreational vehicles, fostering a friendly and clean atmosphere.
The environment of Brown's Landing RV Park is truly its crown jewel. Situated on 350 feet of pristine Lake Huron frontage, the park offers breathtaking views of the sunrise over the vast expanse of the lake. The sites themselves are primarily grassy, offering a pleasant and natural setting, often complemented by mature trees that provide some shade, though direct sun exposure is common, especially closer to the beachfront. The most significant environmental feature is the direct access to a sandy swimming beach on Lake Huron. While water levels can vary, the beach provides a wonderful opportunity for swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying the clear waters. Beyond the immediate park, the surrounding Tawas City area is characterized by its tranquil, small-town charm, with nearby natural areas and the expansive Saginaw Bay a short distance away. The environment is generally quiet and serene, providing a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, making it an ideal destination for relaxation and enjoying the sounds of lapping waves.
In terms of services, Brown's Landing RV Park is exceptionally well-equipped to cater to the needs of modern RVers. The park offers a variety of site types, with 59 sites featuring full hookups, including water, electric (20/30/50 amp service), and sewer connections. Additionally, 21 sites are available with water and electric hookups, providing flexibility for different RV setups. For added convenience, septic pump-outs are also available. Each campsite is thoughtfully designed to enhance the guest experience, featuring a cement patio, a picnic table, and a fire pit or grill for outdoor cooking and enjoyment. These amenities contribute significantly to the comfort and functionality of each individual site. The features of Brown's Landing RV Park extend beyond basic site amenities, offering a range of recreational opportunities and unique selling points. The aforementioned 350-foot sandy swimming beach on Lake Huron is a major draw, providing direct access to water sports such as swimming, jet skiing, kayaking, canoeing, and boating. The park also boasts a 120-foot pier, which offers additional access to the lake for fishing, stargazing, or simply enjoying the panoramic views. For families, a park playground is available, offering children a safe and engaging space to swing, slide, and climb. An indoor recreation room provides a space for various activities, including a pool table, which can be a welcome amenity on cooler or rainy days. A unique feature of Brown's Landing is its association with Miss Charity Isle Group Charters. This allows guests the opportunity to book fishing excursions for perch on a U.S. Coast Guard inspected, custom steel 47-foot craft that is also handicap accessible. This provides an exceptional opportunity for guests to experience Lake Huron's renowned fishing with an experienced captain. The park is pet-friendly, allowing guests to bring their furry companions, though it is always recommended to check for any specific restrictions or fees. For those who enjoy exploring beyond the park, a bike path extends from the campground into Tawas City, offering a scenic nine-mile route through woods, past jasmine and lilac bushes, and with views of Lake Huron, making it perfect for cycling enthusiasts. Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to five golf courses in the nearby area. The park also hosts scheduled events and activities, such as art shows with Tawas, which can add a vibrant social dimension to the camping experience.

Customer Reviews
Beautiful campground and great staff. Friendly people who were super helpful. When other guests were unruly, they didn't hesitate to step in and handle things appropriately so nothing would escalate. The kids and I loved swimming at this wonderful beach. Highly recommend.
I made reservations based off the reviews. First, the reviews on their website are handpicked, not a full representation of what ALL clients are actually saying. Second, it is a full time RV living park. It is a TRAILER PARK, NOT A CAMPGROUND. I called a week ahead to cancel our reservations as this was not a family camp like I read. As a disabled veteran, I need space and calm. I requested my deposit back a week before our reservations. I was told they have a two-week cancelation policy. NO WHERE is this policy written or explained. NO WHERE. Not on their site, not on my emails, no contract was given and no verbal notification. Aaron was condescending, rude, arrogant and insulted me several times stating I didn't follow their policies. WHAT POLICIES? He told me he wasn't a mind reader and I should have given more info when I wanted to cancel. Questioned why I didn't go into the business as opposed to calling and writing (none of this should affect my deposit; all control ugliness from a man who obviously cannot handle people) WELL, sir, you own the business, and I am not a mind reader regarding your policies. SO, this business not only falsely advertises what they have and who lives/stays there....they also don't publish policy and take advantage of the deposits left behind. BAD BUSINESS, UGLY TRAILER PARK, RUDE OWNERS. SAD SAD SAD....We will be going to court over $135 deposit due to their failure to post and notify us of their unwritten, unspoken policies. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
We love Browns Landing, but that being said we like peace and quiet and the owners have really been trying to keep it that way, so don’t come here expecting to “party” because you won’t be welcome! If you want to enjoy Lake Huron and the sounds of the waves, perfect and quiet time is 10:30 pm and also all guests must be registered at the office! We are seasonal guests!! 😊❤️
Absolutely horrible. They are definitely not a family friendly RV park.
First time camping at Browns Landing, a true hidden gem! The owners are very nice the park and rest rooms are extremely well kept and clean, great shoreline , perfect place to bring the Grandchildren to. Most of the park are seasonal people and everyone I have met is very nice. We will definitely be back.
