Customer Reviews
Just a few thoughts on this campground: Disappointed that 1. laundry was extremely expensive and quarters were not available for guests (isn’t there a bank you use?) We ended up doing laundry at Ruby Inn for half the price. 2. the pool and hot tub were not in service in hot June weather, these are actually across the street but advertised on property. 3. We booked three nights and asked for better site than they gave us, lots of empty spots, but was told nothing else available. Our site was very small. The campground is good location from Bryce Canyon and very quiet. The restaurant had good food and the horse riding in Red Canyon was awesome.
Decent campground. Location is perfect and it’s quiet. Nicely spaced out and shaded with the pine trees. The bike trail is nice for those that have dogs. The amenities that are listed on the site are up the road at the hotel. The pool was not working while we were there.
Campground is located very convenient to Bryce Canyon National Park. Campsites are in amongst pine trees with good spacing. Electric has good voltage. Water and sewer are good. Camp website claims to have WiFi and cable. Both are not true. When I asked about it, I was told those services are for the nearby motel, not the campground. Although their website and provided brochure for the campground says different. Cell service on T-Mobile is good enough to stream video.
We stayed one night and was told it was full. We have a 23’ camper with slide out and the only space available was D1. The space is on a slanted edge and it took awhile to find the sweet spot, after setting up our slideout was almost touching our neighbor. Expect highway noise, we did not use the amenities. Great water pressure, it was cold/snowed/hailed and we didn’t have any problems with electricity. We paid a little over 70 for the night. A bit pricey. We tried to pay cash but card was cheaper.
I was having a great experience up until I spoke with the manager Rick. I called because I got charged $50 and from the moment Rick picked up the phone he was extremely rude and condescending and I told him he didn’t need to be a jerk to me and he said he was having a bad day. I asked if I could speak with a manager and he said he is the manager. I will never return to this campground nor will I recommend it because of my conversation with Rick. The response from the owner is exactly how you will get treated. I did not treat Rick any sort of way. He was the one who was extremely rude the second he picked up the phone. The first words out of his mouth on the phone while yelling he said and I quote "You left your fire pit burning, you wanna see a video of it? I got a video of it right here!" I then said you don't need to be a jerk and asked for his name and supervisor and he said "I am the manager, I dont have to give you my name". I don't understand how it's okay to treat people that way. When we left the campsite there was no smoke coming from the pit. Even if there was just charge me the $50. I poured water on the logs and separated them. I wasnt trying to be malicious. You don't need to be a jerk when I call and simply ask why I was being charged extra. Be professionals. You should treat your customers better! Unacceptable!
