Great RV park right on the ocean. We were in spot 222 and we're able to pull in forward so we could enjoy the ocean view. Very dog friendly, super nice staff and folks at the park. A little tight driving through the park in 38' class A, but doable.
Place was fun! The large pool was terrific and direct access to the dog friendly beach was amazing! We rented a dog approved on-site unit, which was a single bedroom modular trailer home. Had everything we needed. I would have rated 5 stars, but the smaller heated pool and hot tub were closed as well as the workout room. Otherwise A+.
We booked this lot for 5 nights and paid for a Beachfront lot. The Neighborhood/amenities are good but for price I paid, I thought we'd be able to have a view of the beach and ocean. All we can see are plants that separate our lot from beach. Also, when you get past those plants, you can still only see sand dunes. ALSO, part of our small lot is in a mudhole which extends onto the sand road in front. The only way to get into lot is thru the mudholes (photos attached). We got in after closing, so we set up, hoping they were planning to remediate the problem the next morning.....nope. I went to office to see about changing lots, but we were told we'd have to move to "Mid Park Lot", even though we paid quite a bit extra for BeachFront, plus of course, we'd have to break down and set up again. I was really not satisfied with their only solution, especially since there were open BeachFront lots. I am not sure what the situations were with those. This is a nice enough place and location is great, but that is it. Roads are all sand and ALL equipment gets really messy, and the roads inside park are really rough and not great for bike riding. We are having a good time in Saint Augustine in spite of our complaints here.
I worked with Nicole on my campsite reservations. I had something come up and needed to change my vacation dates. Nicole did this with no questions asked. Wonderful service and would recommend this campground to anyone wanting a true beach side RV resort.
Only let down is you have to pay to enter if your visiting someone but it’s only $5.00 so not that big of a deal… Beautiful spot with great access to the beach feels cozy and accessible. There isn’t really rooms here so not sure why that’s an option. They may have the permanent mobile homes for rental use though. This place is more an RV park.
