Buck Meadows Lodge

The location is great for visitors of Yosemite national park. The receptionist was friendly and made us feel welcome. It’s convenient to have a restaurant on site and another breakfast place just down the road. We visited in late September and the weather was cool enough that we did not use the air conditioner.

AVOID. Shockingly bad experience with absolutely the rudest front desk person. Booked two nights in a cabin I didn’t see because he couldn’t figure out how to read receipts and literally turned us away, even thought it was booked (as a present), and we had multiple confirmation emails. Astonishingly rude and very aggressive/condescending front desk man.

One of the worst hotel hosts ever encountered. I have never paid much attention to reviews mentioning rude front desk people until today. In this hotel the person is not only rude but fully out of line and disrespectful. With this person in the front desk, this hotel doesn’t deserve your business.

It was a great clean room and not too far from Yosemite. The dinner right across was amazing, great food and nice servers! Only problem was that the heat didn’t work! It was so cold in the room even with tons of layers and in the bed! My boyfriend and I were freezing the whole night, it got down to 37 outside. Very curvy roads getting to the place, watch the weather!

Unfortunately i didn't took pictures of the room, but us seems like they just remodeled the room. At least my room surpass my expectations, it was very clean, and like i said, almost everything look new, i really like it, definitely recommend it and at that price (108.00 +tax and fees) definitely coming back. Also, they have a nice restaurant, we have a great dinner and is a fair price.
