You will need 4x4 and high clearance to get here. The road winds leisurely along at first, then there will be an uphill section which is impassable for typical passenger vehicles.
There is plenty of open space for parking, tents, and day activities. This is a secluded location but not too rustic to include three picnic tables and a fire pit. There are even a few shade trees to provide relief from the sun on hot days. This is a great location for off-roaders as it’s right along the Branch Creek [17E09] OHV trail. Get there early, there is only one official camp site.
Love it. Quite.
Bring a 4x4 to get there, but the campsite is clean, isolated, and has a couple picnic tables and a pit toilet.
Worth the trip out if you have an off-road vehicle
