We stayed at this campground / resort a few times over the past couple of years and really enjoyed it. We have good friends who own there ... and we just signed up to be owners today! The folks who own/run the site seem to be good people and the site is well taken care of. Most people who own there are pretty friendly and welcoming as evidenced at this year's Laborween event. We're looking forward to some extended periods of getting away without the extra hassle of setting up and taking down our travel trailer.
Great campground. We were passing thru and just needed a place for the night. Nice store adjacent to campground entrance which has all the necessities including ice, wood and beer. We also took advantage of the Buckhorn grill and bar totally walkable from our site. We were at one of the sites between the entrance and the pool. Close to the bathhouse which had a couple nice hot showers. Showers were $0.25 and I washed my hair and shaved and only needed 2! We had electricity and water for $30 bucks. Would definitely use this place again. My only negative would be cigarette butts everywhere on the ground.
The owners of the campground are wonderful people. This is our first experience as seasonal campers, and we don't plan on leaving any time soon. Thank you, Jim and Jean, for making our happy place a special one.

Booked another campsite during 4th of July weekend. Unfortunately, it was trashed so we traveled to Buckhorn. Luckily they had a spot available for us. The staff was wonderful. Everyone was super friendly, and we had a great time. They even had a pool and bathrooms with showers that were very well maintained. 10/10 would recommend this place to anybody!

This will be our second year staying at Buckhorn campground N resort and we love it there.. The owners Jim N Jean are both very nice.. N they are there if you ever need them for anything.. It's like a home away from home for us..
