Nice campground, good location, friendly staff. My biggest annoyance was my chain smoking neighbor that sat outside smoking cigarettes all day, filling my camper with the smell of cigarette smoke. So gross, especially as we were both there all week. So I don’t currently smoke marijuana due to job requirements, but I don’t mind if others do. The rules stated absolutely no marijuana. Be fair KOA, it’s legal here. If you’re going to allow alcohol and tobacco, don’t discriminate against marijuana. I would have much preferred smelling that over the stinky cigarettes my neighbor enjoyed all day long.

My husband and I traveled from New York City - Boston - Maine. Our final destination was to spend some amazing days at Acadia National Park. We love nature and we came to this beautiful place Bucksport Fort Knox Koa. We stayed 4 days in the camping area, they are spacious, comfortable and private. The staff is wonderful. When we arrived they had a gift bag and a sign with our last name welcoming us. You don't have to think about it, it's close to everything, it's quiet, relaxing... thanks David and Marlene, we will return to this beautiful natural paradise.

We spent a few nights here to explore this area of Maine. The service is very friendly and the older section of the RV park is quite nice surrounded by large trees, while the newer section for larger units is more of a large parking area.

Not my type of campground. Dog park very small no tree sites out in hot sun. no memories here- left a day early
