Budget Host

We stayed 2 nights over the weekend for only $204! For the price it was way better than expected. You can tell they are slowly redoing the rooms and the furniture was nice and even had USB plug ins and seemingly new flooring in the bathroom! The room was clean, the staff was friendly and many food places, stores and a park were within walking distance. The smell of the place was a little off but to me it seemed the hotel allowed smoking before whoever owns it now made it non smoking and that smell can take time to disappear. If you're on a budget this is a great place to stay! I would only suggest removing the indoor pool signs from the hallway and from the big sign you see from the road. They didn't advertise a pool on their website though so I didn't view it as false advertising, I was just worried I was at the wrong place when I pulled up because of the pool signs outside compared to a pool not being listed on the website. Again, for the price it was better than expected and nowadays it's hard to find any hotel at this price.

This is a good overnight hotel if you need a place to stay. There are only two hotels on this exit and we were not pleased with the other one. The counter gentleman was polite at Budget and the price was inexpensive. Our room was clean and spacious with a king bed. There is an older hotel smell but the place was just what we needed for the night.

Very disappointed if not grossed out by this place. It is in extreme disrepair to the point of being unsafe. That said, had the circumstances been different, we simply would not even have stayed there. The common areas wreak, look dirty and dingy, and the carpet is warped with ripples in it - a major tripping hazard. The pool was closed for "maintenance" which I speculate to have been inoperable for an extended time after reading several reviews dating as far back as January 2023. Our room had a whirlpool which was "out of order" and had an ironing board placed in it to prevent attempted usage. The room had a light fixture that was broken. Wall had several areas where the paint was clearly worn off. Bathroom had warped ceiling tile sustained from apparent water damage. The exhaust fan is on the verge of breaking (it made such a clanking loud noise we didn't use it). The faucet had mismatched handles. The cold water handle wasn't installed correctly either because you can turn it on in either direction. The toilet wasn't the cleanest and the exterior wall of the shower was dirty with greasy fingerprints. There was no coffee machine in the room. The pillows were like pancakes. The carpet needs to be replaced (it had holes in it). And lastly, the room door lacked a preventative security lock on it like most doors have. We were grossed out, so therefore didn't shower or eat there. I'm sure this review will not spur any action to improve the premises so I didn't waste my time taking photos.

Affordable, and it wasn't too loud while I stayed. Friendly staff even with the minor hiccups and miss communications, but they were resolved quickly with clear explanation. It smelled like cigarettes some times, but theres a clear no smoking rule and I understand that they cant control all their customers. Towels and beds were clean and comfortable, and there was AC/Heating. Wish the pool was open lol.

Room ok. Service sucked coffee worked and didnt work. Late on breakfast and then shitty all in all not a pleasant stay
