This is our normal stop when visiting family in WV. We stayed in a Kozy Kabin as usual. The only drawback of Buffalo KOA is its location. It's convenient but its proximity to I 40 makes for a lot of road noise.

Sites were mostly gravel and not very level. There appear to be two sites that are concrete and level. Employees/owners were very friendly. Location is very close to I-40 and the truck noise was incredibly loud. We managed to sleep, although restless, but it required ear plugs. Will not likely stay here again, simply due to the noise levels.

We are running 3 years in a row coming here but in total I’ve visited about 6 times on different occasions. From my first visit in 2017 until now, all I can say is WOW!!! Several renovations have been made and the owners continue to make this site feel more cozy and family friendly each visit. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I have even made friends with the campers that stay here basically year round. I now have two girls and they absolutely love it. I plan on making this a yearly tradition for our little family. Thank you Mike, Penny and Cory for being such great hosts!

Horrific location if you’re in a tent. Fresh off the worst night’s sleep of my life, because inexplicably, they’ve put the tent sights so close to the highway I feel as if I’ve spent the night trying to sleep on top of an active aircraft carrier, I cannot recommend this location if you’re in anything other than an RV.

Awesome location, awesome staff. Penny was super nice. We're traveling to Kentucky, and would like to stay here again on the way home.

Very nice campground. We stopped for one night and were very pleased with the ease of the entire stay. Registration was simple and the lady at the desk was super friendly. The lot was level enough to stay hitched. Hookup was easy. Traffic noise from the interstate was constant, but easy enough to drown out. I definitely recommend this campground.

We had a great stay here for 3 nights. The property is spacious, and the staff is so friendly!! It's conveniently located right off of I-40 and close to a few gas stations. It might be an issue if you're sensitive to noise, but I thought it just became background noise eventually. We would definitely stay here again.

Easy to get in and out of with my 42' rig. Didn't meet anyone since I came after 7p and left shortly after sunrise. Quiet location. Pull through has a little bit of an incline - watch the truck-camper for clearance.

Great place. Lots of shade. The only drawback was being next to the highway. Once inside my RV, road noise was minimal. I have book my next stay.

In spite of a very rainy arrival with some mechanical issues, our stay here was pleasant. It was a quick overnight stay. When we arrived it was pouring rain and the site we booked was too small and sloped too much for us to level. Called and the manager quickly moved is to a concrete pad where we had room and it was level for us. Right off the interstate and while it’s a bit tight for big rigs (ours is 43’) it was a good stop.
