Using Facebook for Wisconsin campground recommendations, I came upon Buffalo Lake Campground and gave it a try for my last outing of the season. I am brand new to RV’ing and found this campground to be very navigable and laid out nicely. I was on site 56B with a Class C for five nights and had a wonderful time. Hearing and seeing the deer and other creatures running through the woods was a treat. Neighbors that came and went were friendly. Seasonal residents were friendly as well. I did not utilize the restaurant and only went to the store to buy a coffee mug because I had forgotten mine, but the food selection looked amazing, and the store was well-stocked and prices looked very reasonable. I will definitely keep this campground on my list of “keepers”.
For a smaller campground, it had a lot of fun activities swimming bingo. Full store with apparel at the most reasonable price in all campgrounds we have visited in the area. Full menu to order from, icecream, propane, ice, lots of light up toys for kids, swim things, ect. Bikes you can rent, canoes you can rent, fishing ! A little noisy with road traffic being so close to town
I cannot rate the “rooms” as there are none like in a hotel, however this has plenty of spacious room for your camper and tenting needs. The staff is so nice and welcoming! We love it at buffalo lake and are looking to possibly make it our seasonal destination
Nice place right next to the water. Very nice staff. Mixture of campers between seasonal to weekend vacationers. It can be a little tight in spots but no biggie.
We camped here with our travel trailer while attending Oshkosh air show. Campground was neat and clean. Very quiet. Great location for this event. One hour away from Oshkosh. Staff was very helpful.
Great little campground. The staff was wonderful. Our site was slightly on the smaller side, but we made the best of it. My kids enjoyed the rental bikes and the game room.
Had a great time at the Campground. Facilities were clean and campsites are kept up. Staff was great and accommodating.
