Gorgeous place, even on a rainy February day. We stopped by to do some hiking. The river, the stone walls, the whole area is amazing
Beautiful area with plenty of recreational activities to participate in. Hiking, kayaking, river floating, and scenic drives all with gorgeous views to take in along the way. I came during a very dry time and cannot wait to return when there is more water.
This is our 5th visit to the area within the last 10 years. The area is so beautiful with plenty to do outdoors. Your adventure awaits at the Buffalo National River.
We live within 20 minutes of South Maumee & love this part of the Buffalo River. So peaceful & quiet with free camping sites with picnic tables, fire pit, bathroom but no showers. Just a minutes from Marshall. Heaven on earth ❤️
A beautiful river with lots of hiking, kayaking, trails, and exploration! The river has some beautiful waterfalls and other nature that were really pretty. Definitely worth checking out. There are a few companies that offer kayaking and places to stay. There are a couple of waterfalls along the river and one waterfall that is pretty challenging to get to- but well worth it! Bring you a flashlight and a raincoat!
