Lovely RV park! The laundry room was small but clean and reasonably price. The bathrooms were very clean and very nice! The women's bathroom has a counter with 3 sinks and 3 private bathrooms that each had a shower and a toilet. The wifi worked really well, but we were the only guests for the night as it was during the winter. The park is on the top of a hill so it was very windy and felt colder than the small town nearby, but the location made for great views!
This Rv Park is in full sun, however, the perks are you get a clear view of the night sky and good location for Starlink. I was there in an overcast time, so the sun didn’t bother me. The campground has excellent hook ups great concrete pads, beautiful, modern bathrooms, and good roads. Although the sites look close, the way they are staggered, gives you the feeling of privacy and everyone has a great view. It’s a good jumping off point for renting canoes/kayaks from Buffalo outfitters. It was also very quiet. The county roads to get to the campground are a bit curvy and bumpy, but as long as you take it slow it’s doable. One tip I have (if traveling from 65 S) is if you have a reservation and know your site, go there, unhook and then go down to the check-in center in Ponca. The water was high when I tried to float the Buffalo River. My recommendation is to go in a rubber raft. There are class one in class two rapids.
My favorite campground I've stayed at to date. Unbelievable views to the east. Great picnic table, flat concrete pad, full hookups, laundry and the best campground bathrooms I've ever used. Plus, they come by and pick up your trash twice per day! The area of Ponca is an adventurer's playground. Could not recommend enough!
Nice campground. As a woman solo camper I felt very safe. The pads are perfectly level. Just pull in and unhook. Beautiful view. Only gave four stars because they had just had 4.5" rain and the sewer was flooded. So I couldn't hook up. It wasn't their fault but because of that my grey water tank overflowed. Not a big deal, other than that it was a perfect stay.
Fantastic views from site 4! It’s in front of the bath house located at the top of a small hill. This location you can bring your sxs and ride about 3 miles to Wilderness Buffalo ranch and ride. The bathhouse was very modern with great shower pressure and heat. Code to get in.
