This was the first time that we came to this campground. We were very happy with the way the sites were located. They were very roomy and also had privacy. This is relatively close to our home, but we did this so we could be more convenient to our nephews games. It was ideal. We take our three dogs and it was convenient to come back and let them out and give them good walks.
Had a short weekend getaway for a concert. Nice campground close to Manassas. Site was a pull thru and there was plenty of room for spreading out and parking your vehicle. The water connection for the hose was way different than any other I've used.
The campsites are great - treed with a lot of space between them. The bathrooms and (free) showers are newer, clean, and within easy walking distance. The employees are great. Close proximity to Bull Run Battlefield. One of my best camping experiences.
We came to the RV park where our truck broke down. We ended up having to stay longer than expected and they tried to be helpful when they realized we were stuck there. Nice trails. Lots of shade. The water park inside this park is ok. More for younger kids but a fun day nonetheless. The lifeguards were on top of it! There are some cabins as well, a good playground and they have fun activities for kids on the weekend.
Bull Run Regional Park is a great gem. The park and campground are very clean and well maintained. Price was right. We will be back!
