Great camp ground right in town. Large very private sites. Play grounds near by. Has power and water at sites both 30amp and 50 amp available. Water park during summer. Many biking trails. Frisby golf and real golf near by. Staff friendly and leave you alone. Our site was gravel and pretty level. We booked late and ended up with the last site a giant 50amp pull through. Picknic table and fire pit. Note they do not rent or sell anything but wood so come prepared or shop the many near by stores.
Safe, quiet for the most part, good staff bathrooms are clean and it has showers. The bunker beach nearby is lots of fun! Bring your family and enjoy fun outdoors, be it a cabin, tent or rv.
Campsites are very large and maintained very well. Lots to do here, plentiful bike/walking paths lots of exploring available.
We were here for 6 days and although we wish they would have had sewer hookups at the site, they do have a dumping station. Bathrooms were extremely clean, the staff were all very nice and we had a wonderful time. The Bunker Beach water park water was extremely cold (especially the lazy River) but once you got over the frostbite 😉 and got used to the freezing water, it was ok). The campground biking trails were spectacular and we loved everything about the campground. We would definitely stay here again!
Great location, but Google maps always wants to bring you in the north entrance, the south entrance is much closer to the campground. The interior roads are easy to navigate but are not kept up. Not sure what the $7 entrance fee is used for but it's apparent it is not used for the upkeep of the interior roads. If paying to use the campground, why is the entrance fee not included in my site rental.
