Last weekend was my first time up here. I wanted to find a nice scenic place on the lake that wasn't super expensive. We had great views and easy access to the lake. The lodge we stayed in was cozy, clean, and comfortable. On a weekend when it went from 80s to 40s it was great having good AC and Heat for the same weekend. Good restaurants and bars within walking distance and the staff was very nice and helpful during our visit. Very happy with my first stay and will be coming back.
Can we just say thank you for everything. The boat rentals are easy and they explain everything so well and very professional always. The cabins are comfortable and equipped. We always enjoy our time here and will be back every time
Everything was fabulous from check-in to check-out. The cabin was clean and had great view of the lake. The pontoon boat was in great shape and the price of rental was reasonable. We did lose a day and a half on the boat due to weather, but the resort did credit us for it. The only downside is the time constraints on boat rentals. We have been accustomed to renting a boat for a full week and having access to use it anytime we want. Here, we were limited to either 7 am -2 pm or 10 am - 7 pm, plus because the bait and boat shop is closed on Tuesdays, we could not have use of the boat on that day.
I rented 2 jet skis for my son and I for his birthday. These were the most reasonable priced in the area. The jet skis were new and in great working condition. The rental process was quick and easy. All paper work was done online before we got there for a quick check in. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and wished my son a happy birthday. We will definitely return here in the future.
We rented a pontoon boat, Burhop's was excellent, very professional and the process was very streamlined. All the employees were great and they did a great job ensuring we were safe. The boat was in great condition and we had zero issues. Price was right too.
