Lots of activity in this out of the way place. Nice little rapids with lots of bugs and can get wet with some rain.

While I did not stay here, I did walk down to the waterfall and poked around. I would absolutely stay at this campground. Be advised, there is bear activity and there are signs posted about food storage and bear safety. There are poles with hooks at each site to hang bear proof food bags. This is a rustic campground with vault toilets. There are only a handful of campsites and they are nicely spaced apart. Lots of blackberry brambles and blueberry bushes in the woods and along the trail to the river. Mex-i-mine Falls is just steps away from the camping area. Plenty of parking space. There is no fee to camp here and you can camp for a maximum of 14 days. There were a fair amount of mosquitos around during mid-day so be sure to bring bug spray!

REMOTE . NO PHONE SERVICE. ( Improvement in phone service ! I'm getting 1 bar . Messages going thru . WOW !! ) Loaded with Poison Ivy. ( Like yer dog will bring it to you if not careful and yer allergic..) WET this year , Sketters are unbelievable " STOUT " !

Nice Quiet Free Camping in the National Forest only stayed a few days because of snow.

An amazing little gem of a campground, no power or water on site. The sites are nicely spaced, not the biggest sites but big enough. The mosquitoes were pretty thick but after allot of bug spray, smoldering fire and a few drinks they were manageable. The water fall is more of a rapids then a water fall but still worth checking out, the hike around the water fall area is very short, probably about 10 minutes.
