Beautiful Landing to get to lake James... God's Country peaceful location
A tiny mom and pop type of operation that served as a decent place to launch a boat and park. The shop was across the street (where you pay $5 for parking) sold live bait and other odds and ends but was... well, exactly as the whole area looks. The owner was smoking so its not a place I would bring my kids into for a snack. Some people might want a cleaner, nicer store and boat launch but it serves its purpose. A sign directing you were to pay would have been nice.
Easy in and easy out for $5. Allows access to two rivers and the lake. Simply pay at the corner store and park. If you are looking for fancy this isn't it.
Decent enough boat landing. I parked my vehicle here and had a shuttle up river to kayak back to the landing. Paid $5.00 for all day parking and use of the ramp. Pay at the store, across the road from the entrance.
Close to the rivers but a terrible boat launch. Now the pier is collapsed too. Considering it's pay to launch it needs some attention.
Thank you so much for helping with my stranded jetski today!
