Perfect secluded campground. Impeccably clean bathroom. Running water outside. And the friendliest host ("Pickett") of any place I've stayed. A little pricey ($20/night) hence only 4 stars. But if you must have a toilet and running water, the best place in the area.

Great campground with a wonderful, friendly, informative host! Shady, not busy, and off the beaten path. Spotless bathrooms and fresh water. There were some flies, but not too bad.

an absolute gem of a campground that we stumbled upon b/c the other places closer to telluride were full. pickett, the camp host, is just darling and what a warm welcome! the road to get there from telluride was very unsettling in our 24' camper van BUT we survived and the back country was stunning. the road out toward dunton was even more beautiful. the campground was empty except for two other campers when we arrived so it felt very secluded and quiet. we only stayed one night but it was a great one for sure.
