Ok I have been here many times and its the perfect place to go on vacation, to rest stop, or to have dinner, it has a very cozy interior and very good food. They also sell christmas tree permits which is very helpful
Our Favorite Place To Stay When Visiting Butte Meadows. I grew up with my Great Grandparents hunting cabing in the area. How wonderful to have a place to stay with my kids and show them the area. Wonderful customer service! The cabin was perfect for my family of six.
One thing not mentioned anywhere on the website is the cleaning fee. It’s $50 for the small cabin and $75 for the large ones per reservation. I would’ve been ok with it had the information been conveyed from the beginning. I went expecting to pay $95 but was charged $151… I brought this up to the owner and could tell it bothered her.. we went to look at the cabin and it was nice! There were a few large ants inside the cabin and I understand there are going to be bugs because it’s in the woods and all, but I think the additional cleaning fee charge just caught me completely off guard.. she gave me a refund and we didn’t stay the night. She was short with me and I could really tell she was unhappy with me which really made me feel like such a horrible person.. I really would’ve appreciated the transparency of the fee and would’ve still stayed had I known before hand.
We had a great spot for our RV. People here are like family and very welcoming. Would stay again.
