Butterfly Camping Resort

This place is so cute! First of all the store that you check in at has everything and anything you can possibly think of, (except coffee creamer). Melissa is so helpful and sweet, as well as the other employees that worked there. The bathrooms! I have never seen cleaner bathrooms and showers at a park or campground. Even my son was impressed by how clean the showers were. There was just enough people without being too crazy but still had a lot of fun. The pool was well kept as well as all the other areas on the grounds. We really enjoyed our time at Butterfly Campground and will definitely be coming back.

Can't give an honest review on the rooms as we brought our own camper with us. Best time to visit this camp ground is in the fall. Biggest two criticisms are: The bath house isn't heated during the fall -and- both times we've visited, the camp store closed before their posted hours.

Stayed here this past weekend, close to home to test out our new rig making sure everything was good, all the staff was super helpful with any questions me and my wife had (we had a lot)! The cleanest park I have ever seen! All the campers that stay there are super welcoming and their kids played with ours the entire weekend. Saturday was filled with activities for the kids. Definitely going back here!

This is a great place to camp for a weekend or for a few weeks. Just 15 - 20 min. to Six Flags, Great Adventure, NJ. This campground has a very large, beautiful, clean swimming pool, dunk tank at special times, Karaoke, arcade, wagon rides, and many more activities. Good sized sites. You don't feel like you're on top of each other. Very well maintained. This is a family owned campground and the owners and their daughter are all very easy to talk to and want everyone to have a good time. But they also do a great job of keeping order and a safe environment for you to enjoy your stay. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you're planning on camping in this area.

If it wasn’t for the awful customer relations, I would rate this place higher. There have a lot of seasonals w large rigs so they don’t seem to value short-term guests. Laundry was a royal pain w machines not accepting coins or giving change and management didn’t care rebuffing honest complaints w uncalled for anger (never appropriate) instead of trying to be helpful. They need lessons in Customer Care. Sorry we overlooked similar complaints by other reviewers. Also lots of partisan political signs which promote a negative vibe that I prefer to live without.
