First time staying at buttonwood. Stayed at the Cozy Cabin. The cabin was very nice, more updated than shown on the website. The worst part was hitting our heads on the light in the loft area-maybe invest in a low profile light. The best part was probably the covered porch. My dog was able to enjoy the porch off leash and I was able to sit without getting eaten up by bugs. The grounds were very well maintained with the exception of the mini golf area. Mini golf was pretty dirty, mildew-y, torn up and overgrown with bushes and trees. The river tubing was not available at the time of our stay due to high water. They offered wristbands at a reduced price for this reason. I think if we stayed again and tubing was not available I would not get the wristbands. There were lots of things to do that are included in the stay price (pool, corn hole, horseshoes, playground etc). The wine shack happy hour was nice and got $1 off wine slushies which were very good-mango my favorite. I could hear the train which other reviews I read complained about but in the cozy cabin it wasn’t too loud. HOLY GOLFCARTS! Most of the riders were fine but there was one rider with lights and flags doing donuts in front of our cabin at 9pm which was somewhat annoying. The staff were nice and friendly but did heavily monitor the site. Over all it was a nice stay and I would probably come back to stay in a cabin again. I don’t own an RV and the tent camping location did seem a little sketchy next to the road and not as close to the amenities.
Camping at Buttonwood this weekend, always amazed at the level of service provided. All the Staff go above and beyond to make sure you have everything needed to enjoy your stay. Highly recommend Camping here you won't be disappointed.
Very nice campground. Beautiful area right along the river. We will definitely visit again.
